I started a sketch book type of thingy yesterday. I started a sketch book type of thingy yesterday. According to the graphs and images my doctor showed me, it looks (to me) like I’ve lost almost half of my vision in my left eye, despite the right eye also being affected of course. This from my early onset and, for too long, untreated, glaucoma. Luckily it is mostly peripheral vision loss and I found that when I work in smaller formats, everything shrinks into a manageable whole again. I still draw big, but It just becomes so much more effortless and enjoyable again to draw small like this. Life is beautiful. If I bump (literally) into you at an exhibition or somewhere, when you “suddenly’ appear on my left, you’ll now know why. 😂 #sketchbook #journal #drawing #drawingwithdisabilities #drawinglife #ilovedrawing
